Bangladesh

Yes we are here and We are sorry that there has not been a lot of blogging or email from us.
As you can Imagine we have been busy over the last 2 weeks, looking for somewhere to live and sorting out what you have to sort out when you arrive in a new country.
I have to say I think we are getting better at it as we go along.
We have found an apartment and WOW is it nice.. I think we were lucky again there after seeing what was on the market.
We have to wait till about the 5th May to move into it so we have to stay in a Hotel for the next week and a bit.
Kathy is busy at work getting settled into things, people have been great I have to say.
We have been made feel very welcome by both the Locals and Expats. There is always something happening here for us to get stuck into..
Each major country has a CLUB where we can meet others and have western food should we feel the need.
There are no Bars here so we have to go to the Clubs for a Beer..
Kathy has been in the Gym of the American Club and she had a great workout..

The week starts on Sunday and finished on Thursday so our weekend is from Friday and Saturday and thats the best time to go to the clubs and hang out..
Traffic in Dhaka is something you have to experience for yourself... I have seen worse in actual car and people numbers but its the fact that there are no "rules of the road.". Or to a westerner thats how it looks..!!
The bigger the Car or Truck you drive the more you can get away with... Don't sit and wait for someone to let you out of a junction because you will be there for EVER..
